Today, I’ve started on the slow-carb diet as detailed in The 4-hour body by Timothy Ferris. I am relatively fit as I swim between 1km-2km a day, six times a week.
My bathroom scale is not working at present, but I know this much: I’m 1.78 m, 33 years old and have been weighing in at around 68kg with an average body fat percentage of 12%-15% over the past 5 years. My goal? To reduce my body fat to under 10% with a weight of around 70kg at the end of March.
This is what I have consumed today:
Wake-up: 2 x cups of black coffee
Breakfast: 2 x fried eggs with 2 rashes of bacon and 1 x cup of black coffee
Lunch: minced beef with peas and carrots
Dinner: large portion of roasted chicken, lentils with bacon and onions, carrots, peas and red wine
Late night: cup of redbush tea
End of day one.
